An elegant pair of early 19th century English Regency period patinated and ormolu gilt bronze neoclassical caryatid candlesticks. White marble gilt bronze banded socle bases surmounted by classically inspired vestal virgin type female figures with gilt bronze waistbands. Tassled cushions and drip tray topped with a simple fluted candle cup. Attractive rare examples of Regency candlesticks. English, circa 1825.
