CA0329 Grand Tour bronze of Marcus Aurelius

Italian late 19th century Grand Tour Giallo Antico marble column surmounted by a patinated bronze model of the Emperor Marcus Aurelius after the original situated in the Piazza Colonna in Rome. Black marble block base. A good quality early example of the bronze of Marcus Aurelius. Italy, probably Rome, circa 1860.
