CA0324 Fine French Empire Period Henri IV clock

Fine early 19th century French Empire period gilt bronze ormolu  mantel clock depicting the Ffench king Henri IV in historical dress with a ruffed collar pointing at a map beside his beautiful feathered hat. The eight day silk suspension movement is housed in a draped table with both sitting on a plinth base with decorative mounts and a central cartouche depicting Henri IV and his councellor and friend the Prince of Sully kneeling at the feet of the king. Winged lion paw feet. France, circa 1815.
