Early 19th century French bronze Lamp of Eros

Superb early 19th century fine French patinated bronze striding Eros figural library desk lamp. The finely cast figure of Eros in dark patinated bronze with accented ormolu bow and quiver set upon green Marbre Vert block with a ormolu architrave base. Later adapted for electric lamp but the pole can be easily removed if you want to display the bronze alone as it would originally have been. Optional modern shade. France, circa 1830.
