Fine French Empire ‘Sacrifice à l’Amour’ clock

Fine and rare French Empire gilt and patinated bronze mantel clock, depicting ‘Sacrifice à l’Amour’. 8 day silk suspension movement, white enamel dial signed ‘A Paris’. Circa 1810. An identical clock is listed in the inventary of clocks at the Chateau de Saint Cloud in 1807.
