CA0391 Rare bronze bust of Julius Caesar Farnese

Italian Grand Tour mid 19th century dark, almost black patinated bronze bust after the original 1st century BC bust of Gaius Julius Caesar from the Farnese collection and now in the National Archeological Museum in Naples. Well cast example with integral socle base presented on an associated white marble column type base. Italy, probably Naples, circa 1850.
