Small Grand Tour Bronze of Narcissus
Small late 19th century Grand Tour Neapolitan archaelogical finish verdigris patinated bronze of Narcissus (Dionysus) after the antique original, found in Pompeii in 1862 and now in the National Archaeological Museum in Naples. Mounted on a lovely later complimentary colour Connemara marble base. Italy, circa 1880.
