CA0494 Rare Grand Tour bronze of the Drunken Satyr

Rare Italian mid to late 19th century Grand Tour rich dark brown patinated bronze of the Drunken Satyr or Drunken Faun reclining naked on a rock with a wine sack and lion skin. Good sized example after the antique original excavated at the Villa dei Papiri in Herculaneum and now on permanent display in the National Archaeological Museum in Naples.
