Pietra Dura marble panel of a songbird

Very sweet, pretty, late 19th century Italian Pietra Dura marble panel depicting a song bird perched on a tree branch. These Grand Tour images were created by using specimen marble inserts into a black marble base. Mounted in a later frame with a hessian background. Italy, circa 1900.
