CA0527 French Empire gilt bronze candlesticks

A good quality pair of early to mid 19th century French Empire gilt bronze candlesticks. Good size, well cast with classic scaled candle cups sitting on a sphere. Plain column support with a large leaf design and a circular base with similar decoration. For an identical pair see Sotheby's 30 September 2003 'Elton John and his London Lifestyle' lot 320.
