Grand Tour Giallo di Montarrenti Siena marble classical bath

Late 19th century Italian Grand Tour Giallo di Montarrenti Siena marble reduction of a classical vasca or bath after the Roman original from the Baths of Caracalla and now a fountain in the Piazza Farnese in Rome. Slightly larger than usual. Beautifully carved lion paw feet, ring side handles and central lions fountain head masks. Mounted on a black marble base. Rome, circa 1890.
