Lovely early 19th century French Empire period Belgium Black marble ormolu mounted borne shaped mantel clock. Classical scene to front showing a couple offering libations at the alter of love. Interesting positioning of the snake. 8 day silk suspension movement. White enamel dial signed 'à Paris' with beautiful delicate early Empire hands. French, circa 1815.
