Pair of plaques of Napoleon and Josephine

Interesting and very decorative pair of gilt bronze portrait plaques of Napoleon and Josephine mounted on a rich dark green velvet and set in Empire style frames. Hanging hook to reverse and remnants of a label. Probably French or Italian, early to mid 20th century.
