Rare Grand Tour relief plaque of the Forum

Rare and fascinating Grand Tour late 19th century German patinated terracotta wall plaque depicting the Temple of Concordia in Rome. Black 'bronzed' finish high relief image of the Roman Forum with the inscription 'Roma Tempio Della Concordia Al Foro Romano'. The black reverse stamped ' 'JM' '1' '133' for Johann Maresch and making it post 1863. Probably produced at the Baehr and Maresch factory in Aussig an der Elbe sometime between 1863-1890.
