Grand Tour bust of Lucius Verus

Good quality late 19th Century Grand Tour patinated bronze bust of Lucius Verus, co-Emperor with Marcus Aurelius, set upon a stepped Breccia di Sciro marble base. Based on the original Roman undraped marble bust on display in the Louvre that was found at the villa of Lucius Verus's wife Lucilla at Acqua Traversa, near Rome. French, circa 1880.
