CA0719 Ancient Egyptian Late Period Bronze of Osiris

Rare, ancient Egyptian late period bronze statue of the mummiform god Osiris dressed in a a close-fitting shroud and wearing the atef crown. In his hands the flagellum heka scepter. Dark, almost black patination with areas of verdigris oxidisation and pitting. Mounted on a custom built square clear block. Acquired from a leading London dealer in 1990s. Late period 600-300BC.
