CA0733 Rare Grand Tour bronze oil lamp on stand

Delightful 19th Century Grand Tour patinated bronze pairing of an oil lamp on a triform stand, after the antique Roman originals found at Pompeii and Herculanium and now housed in the National Archaeological Museum in Naples. Typical anthemion design handle and figural finial cover in the form of Amore with a swan. Two oil spouts with floral designs. Sits on a stunning little Roman stand with a stylised hanging skirt and paw feet. Good example and rarely found together. Naples, Italy, circa 1880.
