CA0732 Fine pair of French Empire brûle parfums

Beautiful, complete pair of seldom found early 19th Century French Empire brûle parfums, or pastille burners, in patinated and ormolu gilt bronze. Tri-legged athenienne style stand with beautifully cast and chased rams head terms on triform socle bases. Rarely seen with the original burners. Filagree fret cut lids with acorn finials. France, circa 1810.
