Georgian Bristol Blue Glass Wine Carafe

Beautiful, George III Period Bristol Blue hand blown and gilt painted glass wine carafe. Exquisite deep blue glass richly decorated with a golden vine foliate pattern. Good condition, commensurate with use and age with slight rubbing and wear to the gold decoration which only enhances the sense of history, the tables it must have graced. A rare and elegant survivor. English, circa 1800.
