CA0805 Small Grand Tour Bronze Phocas Column

Rare, good quality, small, late 19th century Grand Tour patinated bronze model of the monumental column of Phocas in the Forum Romanum in Rome. Surmounted by a classical capital the reeded column sits on a plinth which in turn sits on a stepped base. Mounted on a Giallo Antico marble base. Rome, Italy, circa 1870.
