Second quarter of the 19th Century French Empire style gilt bronze ormolu figural candlesticks in the form of classical putti in kilts with baskets of flowers on their heads. Floral motifs to the base. Classic Empire machined designs to the column bases and candle cups. Good quality examples. France, circa 1840.
