Small Grand Tour model of the Fontana dei Dioscuri

A very rare and beautiful 19th century Grand Tour small marble model of the ancient basin in the Fontana dei Dioscuri in the Piazza del Quirinale in Rome. Carved from pink Giallo antico marble with a simple grey marble base. Italy, circa 1880.
