Grand Tour Painting of Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute, Venice

Interesting early to mid 20th Century Grand Tour oil on panel painting of the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute on the Grand Canal in Venice. On the reverse are two labels from Aldridge Bros Art Dealers, The Little Gallery, Warwick Street, Worthing. Fine art dealers Aldridge was opened in 1876 by the marine artist Frederick Aldridge (1850-1933). 'The Little Gallery' was established by his sons in 1905. Nicely executed, slightly naive Venitian style painting with good detail. Signed 'Terry'. Modern frame. One of a pair.
