CA0948 Grand Tour Serpentine Marble Grotesque Mask Oil Lamp
Fascinating mid 19th century Grand Tour Renaissance style grotesque mask oil lamp in serpentine marble. Carved as a swan plucking at its breast with an exaggerated face to its back and a sea serpent head on an integral carved oval plinth.
