Vénus d'Arles' Bronze Bust by Barbedienne

Rare 19th Century patinated bronze library bust of the 'Vénus d'Arles' after the antique original found in 1651 in the Roman Theatre in Arles and now housed in the Louvre in Paris. Stamped 'F. Barbedienne Fondeur' with the Reduction Merchanique seal of Achille Collas. French, circa 1890.
