Napoleon as Caesar Bust

Superb early 19th century bronze bust of Napoleon as Caeser with a victors’ laurel crown. Very similar to the official portraits of the period that graced plaques and commemorative medals by Andrieu. Good size, patinated bronze on green marbre vert base with a second gilt bronze ormolu laurel mount and gilt bronze base.
