Grand Tour 18th C. Carrara and Siena Marble Bust of Julius Caesar

A fine, well executed, large scale Italian late 18th century Grand Tour mixed marble library bust of Julius Caesar. Beautful combination of colours the portrait head carved from white statuary Carrara marble and the toga from Siena marble. The white marble socle inscribed J. Cesar.
