A fine quality, 19th Century Italian Grand Tour micromosaic paperweight depicting a vignette of the Forum in Rome. The Temple of Vespasian in the foreground with views of the Temple of Saturn and the Arch of Septus Severus, in the background can be seen the Temple of Castor and Pollux and the Phocas column. Set within scalloped black marble form. Rome, circa 1850.
