Pair of French Empire Figural Candelabra

An attractive pair of 19th century patinated and gilt bronze French Empire two light candelabra. Scrolling foliate cast branches issue forth from amphora held by classically inspired male and female figures, after the antique. The figures stand on cylindrical stepped bases with applied Etruscan masks and drapery. France, circa 1820.
