Grand Tour Marmo Rosso Phocas Column

Superb, large 19th century Grand Tour Marmo Rosso model of the monumental column of Phocas in the Forum Romanum in Rome. Beautifully carved, very fine quality, detailed capital. Reeded column standing on a plinth base with a correct gilt inscription. Stepped marmo rosso base on black marble. Rome, Italy, circa 1870.
