Lovely 18th Century oil on canvas Italian Grand Tour painting of the Temple of Minerva Medica in Rome. This painting of the temple, now recognised as a ruined nymphaem of Imperial Rome, must have been painted prior to the collapse of the roof section in 1823. Original frame. Rome circa 1780.
