Lovely early 19th Century Grand Tour patinated cabinet bronze of the Venus Callipyge, after the original in National Archeological Museum in Naples. Standing on a white marble socle. The title of this ancient erotic statue literally translates as Venus of the beautiful buttocks. Rome, circa 1820.
