CA1127 Louis XVI Style Astrological Clock

A fine quality Louis XVI style French 19th century white marble, gilt and patinated bronze astrological clock by Vincenti. Symetrical design featuring gilt bronze putti seated on finely cast lions holding the clock mechanism aloft, surmounted by oak garland with acorns. The white marble base mounted with gilt bronze ormolu medusa heads and a frieze of astrological symbols of the zodiac. Paris C1880.
