Important pair of fine original French Empire ‘Retour d’Egypte’ or 'Goute d'Egypte' mahogany fauteuils. Carved winged female term supports with lion paw feet. Drop in seats, upholstered in ivory fabric with gold stars. Previously sold through Sotheby’s in 1999. Circa 1815.
