CA0166 Fine Grand Tour bronze of Jupiter Enthroned

A fine 19th century Grand Tour verdigris patinated bronze of Jupiter enthroned in all his majesty, holding a sceptre and a thunderbolt. After the 1st century AD originally discovered in Hungary and now housed in the British Museum. Good example, well cast and finished, presented on a green marble block base. Probably English, circa 1870.
