CA0162 Rare early pair of Sicilian Jasper marble columns

Fascinating, very rare pair of early classical Italian Sicilian Jasper marble columns. Renaissance in style, possibly ecclesiastical. Fine figuring to the marble with some translucant fluorite elements sitting on weathered stepped circular bases. Beautifully decorative items in themselves with some small chips and repairs as you would expect. Early, possibly 16th century.
