CA0164 Fine Grand Tour bronze of the Berlin Adorante
A fine example of a late 19th century Grand Tour patinated bronze of The Berlin Adorante, also known as the Praying Boy, after the ancient Greek statue by Lysippos of Sicyon of a nude male youth with arms raised. Now in the collection of the Altes Museum in Berlin. Well cast, good size on a block marble base. Italian or German, circa 1890.
