CA0236 Very rare Grand Tour bronze bust of the Roman Isis

Fine and very rare French 19th Century Grand Tour rich dark patinated bronze portrait bust of the goddess Isis, after the late 2nd Century AD Roman marble original in the Musée du Louvre in Paris. Superbly detailed bronze of a little known bust fragment which would add real depth to any Grand Tour collection. Presented on a typical mid 19th century Sienna marble block base with a green marble architrave and a gilt bronze ormolu floral wreath mount. France, circa 1860.
