CA0224 Rare 19th century bronze bust of Napoleon as Caesar

Rare and unusual French 19th century patinated herm style bronze bust of Napoleon as Caesar wearing a victor's laurel crown similar to versions attributed to Pierre-Philippe Thomire (see Sworders Fine Interiors Sale December 2024 lot 394)  Good size, patinated bronze on green marbre vert base. Very decorative rare example perfect for any serious Napoleonic collection. France, circa 1840.
