CA0241 Pair 19thC Poseidon and Amphritrite Louis XV style bronzes

Interesting pair of good quality French 19th century Louis XV style patinated and gilt bronze figures of Poseidon and Amphritrite astride classically inspired sea serpents. Well cast Baroque style bronzes possibly from a pair of chenets or candlesticks. Mounted on later 19th century black block marble bases with Sienna marble accents. Replacement tridents. Great decorative pieces.
