CA0270 Very decorative pair of bacchanalians by Rancoulet

Fine quality pair of late 19th century patinated bronze statuettes of cavorting Bacchanalian revellers by Ernest Rancoulet (1870 - 1915). Fantastic sense of movement and abandon. Signed 'Rancoulet' to the bases of the figures. Presented on nicely figured Sienna marble domed bases. France, circa 1900.
