CA0276 Matched pair of twin light candelabra after Rabiat

Very decorative matched pair of early 19th century French Empire period patinated and gilt bronze ormolu two branch figural candelabra after a model attributed to Claude François Rabiat 1756-1815. Well modelled and cast patinated central figure of Amore or Cupid holding aloft a large arrow with a bow forming the branches and decorated urn type candle cups. Standing atop domed cylindrical bases with typical machined empire designs and block bases. Good quality, very attractive candelabra. French, circa 1810.
